Emily Pineda

I’m Emily Pineda, a Liberal Studies student at California State University, San Bernardino, preparing to become an elementary educator. My journey toward teaching has been shaped by my family, my own experiences as a student, and the educators who taught me the importance of being seen, heard, and encouraged. Through my studies in Liberal Studies and Psychology, I’ve grown especially interested in childhood development, learning, and the experiences that shape how children see themselves. I hope to create a classroom where curiosity feels natural, questions are welcomed, and every child has room to discover what they are capable of. This portfolio is a collection of the writing, coursework, and experiences that continue to shape the educator I am becoming.
